Welcome to Huswerks. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Huswerks website, application, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Each account is intended for a single user. You must notify us immediately at support@huswerks.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use.
New accounts start with a 30-day free trial with full access to the Service. No payment method is required to begin the trial.
When the trial ends, your account enters a read-only state. You can view all existing data but cannot create new records until you subscribe. Your data is never deleted due to trial expiry.
Paid subscriptions are available in the following tiers:
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle. You may cancel at any time from your Account Settings page. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fees apply.
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service. We do not store your payment card details on our servers.
We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes will not affect your current billing period.
Document storage limits are determined by your plan:
If you exceed your storage limit, you will not be able to upload additional documents until you upgrade your plan or remove existing files. We reserve the right to modify storage limits with reasonable notice.
You retain full ownership of all content you upload or enter into the Service, including documents, photos, property data, and project records (“Your Content”).
By using the Service, you grant Huswerks a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content, and we will not use it for any purpose other than operating the Service.
You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.
The Service includes optional AI-powered features, including appliance nameplate scanning and receipt scanning. When you use these features, images you provide are sent to a third-party AI provider (Google Gemini) for processing.
AI-generated results are provided as suggestions and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-extracted data before relying on it.
The Service allows you to generate share links for properties, projects, and appliances. Share links may have an expiry period or be permanent (Property Handoff, available on Pro and Landlord plans). Anyone with a valid share link can view the shared data without an account.
Property Transfer allows you to transfer full property records to another registered Huswerks user. Once a transfer is accepted, ownership of the property data moves to the recipient and is removed from your account.
You are responsible for the content you share and the recipients you share it with.
You may export your data at any time in CSV or PDF format from within the application. You may delete your account from the Account Settings page. Upon deletion, all associated data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Huswerks and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from:
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
Huswerks is a record-keeping tool. It does not constitute legal, financial, or professional home inspection advice. Maintenance reminders are informational and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for home maintenance decisions.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason with reasonable notice. You may terminate your account at any time from your Account Settings page.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, disclaimers, and dispute resolution) shall survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
